Milan Eye Dzeko as Huntelaar Replacement

AC Milan weren’t the busiest in the summer transfer window with many of their targets not getting released from their clubs. After Kaka left the club it was expected that Milan would use the money received to reinvest in players and strengthen the squad but the biggest name player to sign was Klass-Jan Huntelar who has failed to score for the club and has received very little playing time since his move from Real Madrid in the summer.

Edin Dzeko was said to be one of Milan’s main targets in the summer with Wolfsburg refusing to let the player leave but the Bosnian international has once again stated that his dream is to pull on an AC Milan shirt and with Huntelaar linked with a move to the Premiership another attempt to sign Dzeko could be on the cards with Milan in desperate need of some quality to be added to the side.

Milan have missed the quality and spark that Kaka brought to the team and although Dzeko is not going to play the same role the club is missing a top quality striker at the moment to put the ball in the back of the net and Dzeko could certainly fill that role.
