Pirelli Cup: Inter Win Biggest Trophy!

Inter dis­missed Man­ches­ter City 3–0 to win the Pirelli Cup on Sat­ur­day in Bal­ti­more, Maryland.

While the score­line fairly reflects the way the Ner­az­zurri dom­i­nated the match, par­tic­u­larly after Patrick Vieira was sent-off, the biggest sur­prise came after full-time when a mas­sive sized tro­phy was pre­sented to the win­ning team.

Hav­ing attended the match and prior to leav­ing, I was sur­prised to say the least when I saw the tro­phy and decided to take a few pic­tures. I am attach­ing two pic­tures which per­haps can give the read­ers a fair idea about the trophy’s ridicu­lously large dimen­sions despite this being a mere friendly match.
