What I’m hearing is Juventus midfielder Tiago Mendes has rejected a 12-month loan move to English side Everton. Sounds like the Turin club had tried to transfer the player to either Tottenham or Newcastle but those talks broke down and Everton pounced for the Portuguese national. Something tells me Tiago has his ruby slippers on and wants to go home.
