The manager has spent all summer talking about how much he’d love Giovonco at the club and now they’ve missed out on him.

It’ll be a tougher season but I still think they’ll stay up, although you never know with Ventura as manager!

Rob – Agreed on your points. I am concerned with ownership getting cheap on this club, the link above basically says that because Bari is in Serie A and there is no need to attract a decent manager, the club has been cheap. I hope this is not the case; Bari’s market is good for Serie A and vice versa.

Losing Bonucci and Ranocchia will be a big minus but I think Bari will survive in Serie A unless there’s a number of key injuries.

Too bad Bari have gone from a surprise package in last season to a weakened club this upcoming campaign.

I hope that Bari stay up, they’re a club which plays some great attacking football, and hopefully they’ll be able to survive even though they’re missing Bonucci and Ranocchia at the back.
